The page offers:

auto-update

plotting of Tweets that include geospatial information as provided by the user/Twitter's API

the ability to narrow the search to within "x" miles of a clicked location on the map

River Forecast and Observations
River Gauge forecast and observation monitoring system utilizing National Weather Service AHPS data. Data is displayed on OpenLayers mapping API.
